Biomedical and Environmental Sciences (BES) is an international English scientific periodical jointly established by Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) and the Coulston International Corporation (CIC), USA in 1988, which is published bimonthly and distributed both in China and abroad. The editorial office is based in the headquarters of China CDC.BES publishes research papers submitted from China and other countries in the areas of biomedical and environmental sciences, which cover public health virology, microbiology, epidemiology, parasitology, nutrition, toxicology, pharmacology, environmental health, chemistry, biological and toxicological effects of hazardous substances including environmental pollutants, food additives, pesticides and industrial chemicals as well as methodological research, including chemical, biochemical, pathological and immunological methods. Experimental studies on natural and synthetic pollutants of the distribution, metabolic characteristics, and their impact on human health are also included. Research on preventive medicine and public health are also welcomed.Our Journal has joined the famous researching system, such as SCI, CA etc. We also got the sustentation fund of National Natural Foundation of China in 1999.To meet the needs of national information development and widen authors academic exchange channel, we declare that the journal, Biomedical and Environmental Sciences, has joined the Net. Created in 2011, as a spin-off from Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy, this journal has an International Editorial Board of researchers and physicians working in oncology, cardiology, neurodegenerative diseases, nutritional pathologies and all aspects of disease pathologies affecting children and the ever-growing number of the elderly throughout the world. This included effects of nutritional and psychological conditions. The pathology of degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease are reported, plus other diseases of children and elderly, such as diabetes. Original articles, review articles, thematic dossiers and clinical reports are published.

An international multidisciplinary journal with two objectives:- to create an interface between clinical and laboratory responses to drugs and to investigate critical approaches to different pathologies with regard to biological and clinical data,- to provide a niche for authors whose work is not directly defined by the review criteria of existing journals.Biomedicine and pharmacotherapy is one of the few journals at the forefront of fundamental and technical science, biological and medical disciplines, therapeutics and pathological description. General fields of interest include molecular and cell biology, genetic disease, immunology and immunoregulation and chemotherapy. Special emphasis is placed on studies of specific topics such as differentiation, pharmacology and toxicology, preclinical and clinical pharmacology, the effects of drugs on cell structural and functional elements, the mechanism of gene regulation in normal and pathological cells, the role of viruses and parasites and the therapy of the diseases they induce. Brief reports of meetings, symposia and conferences will also be considered for publication as well as announcements of scientific meetings or academic courses.

Compelling evidence supports a link between nutrition and a number of acute and chronic diseases. Malnutrition is either the result of inadequate nutrient intake (a condition that magnifies the need for one or several nutrients) or the cause or effect of illness.In developing countries, malnutrition and infections are the major cause of premature death whereas in developed countries chronic diseases including cardiovascular, cancer, diabetes and osteoporosis are predominant pathologies.In children, appropriate nutrition can ensure a child's genetic potential. Eating disorders starting at puberty are more common in girls than boys. In adult pathology, cardiovascular disease (CVD) is becoming an important cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The complexity of medical and nutritional management is illustrated by diabetes mellitus. Obesity is one complicating factor that appears to exacerbate disturbances of insulin homeostasis. Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma and gout all have also nutritional implications that need to be part of the overall treatment requiring changes in lifestyle. One of which is diet and the use of "functional foods" (foods that provide a health benefit beyond basic nutrition and beyond the traditional nutrients provided). Functional foods focus primarily on the risk factors of blood cholesterol, homocysteine and hypertension. As a result of increased longevity, phosphate depletion, Vitamin D deficiency and osteomalacia are more prevalent conditions. Osteoporosis is another major public health problem that is more acute in women but is becoming a problem for men in their seventh and eight decades. The relationship between immunity and nutritional status can be intricate. Maintenance of immuno-competence may be strongly influenced by adherence to a balanced diet.The objective of "Biomedicine & Preventive Nutrition" is to provide physicians, nutritionists, dentists, pharmacists, dieticians, health educators, policy makers and research investigators with up-to-date research indicating that the risk of many of the major diseases affecting children and adults can be prevented or at least delayed with nutritional approaches. In addition, Biomedicine & Preventive Nutrition will publish a comprehensive and introduction to natural products and natural metabolites from plants and marine natural products (bacteria, fungi, microalgae, sponges and mollusks) that will be of special interest to chemists, pharmacologists, ecologists, physicians those who are interested in medicinal natural products.

Biomolecular Detection and Quantification (BDQ) is an open access, peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to championing excellence in molecular study design, measurement, data analysis and reporting. Bioorganic Chemistry publishes accounts of research that provide mechanistic insight inspired by Biology. The guiding principle that the Editorial Board will follow in accepting manuscripts for publication is that the research uses the principles and techniques of organic and physical organic chemistry in attempting to solve some problem of relevance to biology or that are directly inspired by some biological observation.Within this context, manuscripts suitable for submission are ones that deal with such topics as enzymology and biocatalysis (including the study of ribozymes and catalytic antibodies), closely-relevant enzyme models, biosynthesis and combinatorial biosynthesis, and biomimetic synthesis. Biophysical Chemistry publishes original work and reviews in the areas of chemistry and physics directly impacting biological phenomena. Quantitative analysis of the properties of biological macromolecules, biologically active molecules, macromolecular assemblies and cell components in terms of kinetics, thermodynamics, spatio-temporal organization, NMR and X-ray structural biology, as well as single-molecule detection represent a major focus of the journal. Like its sister journal, Bioresource Technology, Bioresource Technology Reports' mission is to advance and disseminate knowledge in all the related areas of bioenergy, biotransformations and bioresource systems analysis, and technologies associated with conversion or production.

Bioresource Technology Reports publishes original articles, review articles, case studies and short communications.
