Animal Genetics reports frontline research on immunogenetics, molecular genetics and functional genomics of economically important and domesticated animals. Publications include the study of variability at gene and protein levels, mapping of genes, traits and QTLs, associations between genes and traits, genetic diversity, and characterization of gene or protein expression and control related to phenotypic or genetic variation.
Comprehensive Analyses of the Animal and Food SciencesResearch papers in Animal Production Science (continuing Australian Journal of Experimental Agriculture) focus on improving livestock and food production, and on the social and economic issues that influence primary producers. The journal is predominantly concerned with domesticated animals (beef cattle, dairy cows, sheep, pigs, and poultry); however, contributions on horses and wild animals may be published where relevant.Animal Production Science publishes the highest quality original contributions dealing with:* animal breeding and genetics* animal nutrition and reproduction* livestock farming systems, sustainability and natural resource management* meat science and consumer acceptability* behaviour, health and welfare* feed quality and nutritional value* bio-pharmaceuticals derived from animalsCritical Reviews, Interdisciplinary Views and CommentsWith the new scope of Animal Production Science you´ll benefit from exposure to debate from subject specialists from a variety of disciplines, including:* genetic and reproductive biotechnologies for livestock improvement* animal behaviour, health and welfare* dairy science and technology* sustainable production systems* meat science and quality .
Animal Reproduction Science publishes original research and timely reviews on topics relating to reproduction and fertility in animals. This includes both fundamental research and applied studies, including management practices that increase our understanding of the biology and manipulation of reproduction. The focus is on animals that are useful to humans including food- and fibre-producing; companion/recreational; captive; and endangered species including zoo animals, but excluding laboratory animals unless the study reveals new information that impacts our basic understanding of the biology or manipulation of reproduction applicable to the animals listed above. The journal's scope includes the study of reproductive physiology and endocrinology, reproductive cycles, natural and artificial control of reproduction, preservation and use of gametes and embryos, pregnancy and parturition, infertility and sterility, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.Animal Reproduction Science has decided not to publish papers that exclusively examine the in vitro development of oocytes and embryos; however, it will consider papers that include in vitro studies where the source of the oocytes and/or development of the embryos beyond the blastocyst stage is part of the experimental design.Authors with any concerns are encouraged to contact the journal to enquire about the suitability of the content of their paper for submission. Animal Reproduction Science has no page charges and only publishes papers after rigorous peer review.
Animal Science Journal (a continuation of Animal Science and Technology) is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Animal Science (JSAS) and publishes Original Research Articles (full papers and rapid communications) in English in all fi elds of animal and poultry science: genetics and breeding, genetic engineering, reproduction, embryo manipulation, nutrition, feeds and feeding, physiology, anatomy, environment and behavior, animal products (milk, meat, eggs and their by-products) and their processing, and livestock economics. Animal Science Journal will invite Review Articles in consultations with Editors. Submission to the Journal is open to those who are interested in animal science.
ANIMAL SCIENCE PAPERS AND REPORTS (Anim. Sci. Pap. Rep.) is an English language quarterly published by the Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Jastrzebiec. Papers are welcome reporting studies in all aspects of animal breeding and genetics, reproduction, animal biotechnology, physiology, ethology and welfare. Critical review papers and short reports will also be considered and in justified cases also other original articles dealing with animal science and production. Proceedings of the related meetings and conferences will be published as supplements.
Animal Welfare is the established scientific and technical journal that brings together the results of scientific research and technical studies related to the welfare of animals kept on farms, in zoos, in laboratories, as companions or living in the wild. The Editor-in-Chief is Dr James K. Kirkwood, UFAW Chief Executive and Scientific Director.Animal Welfare is abstracted in Biological Abstracts; CAB Abstracts; Current Contents/Agriculture, Biology and Environmental Sciences; Current Primate References; EMBASE; Focus on: Veterinary Science & Medicine; Humans & Other Species; Research Alert; SciSearch; Toxicology Abstracts; Veterinary Update; is indexed in Zoological Record; and is covered by the Science Citation Index.Animal Welfare is a focus for the advancement of animal welfare science and technology and helps ensure that relevant knowledge is readily available. The journal is useful for all concerned with the management, care and welfare of animals, such as zoologists and veterinarians, animal house curators, zoo keepers, laboratory animal technicians, agriculturalists and stockmen, as well as animal welfare scientists and students. Animal Welfare is also of value to legislative and regulatory authorities and other organizations responsible for the welfare of animals.
Annales Botanici Fennici is an established, international, peer-reviewed journal, open to all scientists, appearing in six-number yearly volumes (until 2002 quarterly). It was founded by Societas Biologica Fennica Vanamo in 1964 replacing its predecessor which was published between 1923 and 1963. Since 1978 it has been published by the Finnish Zoological Publishing Board and since 1994 by the Finnish Zoological and Botanical Publishing Board.
Annales Zoologici Fennici publishes original research reports, in-depth reviews, short communications and commentaries on different subjects from the realm of animal science. Although we also publish papers on specific topics (see the list below), our aim is to promote papers which, by using an integrative and cross-discipline approach, provide a picture of the past and present environment, and interactions amongst its components.
The Annales de la Société Entomologique de France founded in 1832, is one of the oldest journals in the world to be devoted to Entomology. After merging with two other journals : 'Revue Française d'Entomologie' and 'la Revue de Pathologie végétale et d'Entomologie agricole de France' in 1965, the Annales kept its title with the amendment 'Nouvelle série'. In 1977, the journal acquired an Editorial board and an International Scientific Committee.
Covers horizontal and directional drilling, drilling fluids, bit technology, sand control, perforating, cementing, well control, completions and drilling operations.
Annals of Agricultural Science, is published by Faculty of Agriculture, Ain-Shams University. It aims at increasing scientific relationships between Arab Researchers. It is targeted towards the publication of authentic researches, in the sphere of Agricultural Sciences.
