ournal of Plant Registrations publishes cultivar, germplasm, parental line, genetic stock, and mapping population registration manuscripts. The journal is published online on an open-access basis. The print version of the journal ships three times a year to subscribers of Crop Science. The Journal of Plant Registrations will accept registrations of plant material with documented novel and unique characteristics compared to available accession sources of a particular species. Perspective or review papers on historical plant material, the registration process, or related topics may also be accepted with approval of the editor and after review.

For publication it accepts original research articles, technical notes, short communication and reviews (both voluntary and by invitation), on all aspects indicated by the Journal title. Contributions to soil science cover physics, chemistry, biology, microbiology, mineralogy, ecology, pedology, classification and amelioration. Contributions related to plant nutrition and agriculture include plant production, physiology and metabolism of plants, plant ecology, diversity and sustainability of agricultural systems, organic and inorganic fertilization in relation to their impact on yields, quality of plants and ecological systems and agroecosystems studies. Contributions related to soil degradation, environmental pollution and nature conservation and environmental protection are also included in the scope of the Journal.
The Journal of Stored Products Research provides an international medium for the publication of both reviews and original results from laboratory and field studies on the preservation and safety of stored products, notably food stocks, covering storage-related problems from the producer through the supply chain to the consumer. Stored products are characterised by having relatively low moisture content and include raw and semi-processed foods, animal feedstuffs, and a range of other durable items, including materials such as clothing or museum artefacts.Manuscripts are welcomed on:• the biology, ecology, physiology, behaviour, taxonomy or genetics of pests and spoilage agents• environmental factors influencing insect life cycles• the physical, chemical or biological control of pests and spoilage agents but excluding routine laboratory screening of candidate plant materials• biochemical or behavioural resistance to control measures• storage biotechnology, pest management and decision support systems• the effects of physical and environmental control procedures on the physical and chemical nature of the stored products• the assessment, prevention and control of losses• regulatory, technological and socio-economic subjects relevant to stored products• improvements in the design and structure of the storage environmentThe Journal of Stored Products Research reflects the worldwide interest in the scientific problems of infestation in stored food and their relevance to food stock security, market access and trade, and the increasing problem of world food distribution.Contact details for submission:Based on your topic, your manuscript will be handled by one of the Editors-in-Chief:Greg Daglish:Chemical control and contaminantFrank Arthur:Biology and EcologyChris Bell:Biological and Physical Control

The Journal of the World Aquaculture Society is an international scientific journal publishing original, peer-reviewed, English-language papers on the culture of aquatic plants and animals. The Journal, published bi-monthly, covers nutrition, disease, genetics and breeding, physiology, environmental quality, culture systems engineering, husbandry practices, and economics and marketing as well as a number of other topics related to the culture of aquatic organisms. The Journal is listed in Current Contents as well as several other major Contents/Abstracting services and currently has a citation factor of 0.657.Papers are selected for publication based on scientific competence and the significance of the knowledge or ideas presented. Four categories of papers are published in the Journal. Review Articles provide objective synthesis of a subject of importance in aquaculture. Research Articles are full scientific reports of original research. Research Notes differ from research articles on the basis of scope, not quality, and are generally shorter and of narrower scientific focus. Finally, Communications are brief reports of new observations, concepts, or methodologies.
Molecular Breeding is an international journal focused on applications of plant molecular biology: research most likely leading to practical applications with demonstrable benefits for farmers, the seed and processing industries, the environment and the consumer in both the industrialized and the developing world. Papers chosen for publication contribute to the understanding and progress of modern plant breeding, encompassing the scientific disciplines of molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, pathology, plant breeding and ecology, among others. Topics include contemporary methods of molecular genetics and genomic analysis, structural and functional genomics in crops, proteomics and metabolic profiling, abiotic stress and field evaluation of transgenic crops containing particular traits. The journal also publishes short communications, papers describing novel methods and review papers. All submissions are subject to peer review, ensuring the highest scientific standards.
MPMI has instituted a feature called First Look. Within a few days of acceptance, papers by authors who choose to participate will be posted online. The papers have been peer reviewed and then revised as necessary by the authors but have not been copyedited, formatted, or assigned to an issue. The date on which each paper is posted is considered the publication date. The papers are fully citable by doi.The following statement appears on papers posted in First Look:MPMI "First Look" paper • doi: 10.1094/MPMI-00-00-0000 • posted 00/00/201XThis paper has been peer reviewed and accepted for publication but has not yetbeen copyedited or proofread. Celebrating 75th anniversary of MycopathologiaIt was founded in 1938 as an international journal devoted to the study of the role of fungi in human and animal disease. Many of the milestones discoveries in the field of medical mycology have been communicated through the pages of this journal. A special commemorative issue is planned at the end of 2013 to mark this occasion. Please contact the Editor-in-Chief or the Publishing Editor to share your stories or suggestions in this special year of festivities. This journal publishes original articles and case reports highlighting important developments in the fields of medical and veterinary mycology. Mycopathologia covers a diverse, interdisciplinary range of topics that is unique in breadth and depth. We also welcome papers on systematics and taxonomy of fungi involved in these fields. Timely opinion articles, mini-reviews and other communications are usually invited at the discretion of the editorial board. The Editor-in-Chief is Vishnu Chaturvedi, New York Sta
