The effects of stress on crop production of agricultural cultivated plants will grow to paramount importance in the 21st century, and the Journal of Agronomy and Crop Science aims to make a contribution to understanding these challenges. In this context, stress refers to extreme conditions under which crops and forages grow. The journal publishes original papers, short communications, reviews, and book reviews on the general and special science of abiotic plant stress. Specific topics addressed include: Drought, including water-use efficiency, Chemical Constraints, such as salinity and acid soils, Extreme temperatures as heat, cold and chilling stress limit the cultivation of crops, Flooding and oxidative stress, mineral deficiency and toxicity stress and means of restricting them. The Journal will give preference to scientific articles on plant stress highlighting these subsections. Particular regard is given to application-oriented basic research and applied research. Coverage: The entire field of plant stress on agricultural crops.

Journal of Bryology is an international botanical periodical which publishes original research papers in cell biology, anatomy, development, genetics, physiology, chemistry, ecology, palaeobotany, evolution, taxonomy, applied biology, conservation, biomonitoring aspects and biogeography of bryophytes, and also significant new check-lists and descriptive floras of poorly known regions. Papers containing information on other organisms are acceptable providing that they also incorporate significant new data on bryophytes.

Journal of Crop Protection (JCP) is an international peer-reviewed research journal published quarterly for the purpose of advancing the scientific studies. It covers fundamental and applied aspects of plant pathology and entomology in agriculture and natural resources. The journal will consider submissions from all over the world, on research works not being published or submitted for publication as full paper, review article and research note elsewhere. The Papers are published in English with an extra abstract in Farsi language. 

A British Ecological Society journal, the Journal of Ecology publishes original research papers on all aspects of the ecology of plants (including algae), in both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.

The Journal of Experimental Botany publishes high-quality primary research and review papers in the plant sciences. These papers cover a range of disciplines from molecular and cellular physiology and biochemistry through whole plant physiology to community physiology.Full-length primary papers should contribute to our understanding of how plants develop and function, and should provide new insights into biological processes. The journal will not publish purely descriptive papers or papers that report a well-known process in a species in which the process has not been identified previously. Articles should be concise and generally limited to 10 printed pages.JXB publishes Review Articles on a regular basis. JXB reviews should be scholarly articles; Not only should they summarise relevant information, but they should add value to current knowledge through constructive academic criticism, informed insight or well considered foresight. Review authors are encouraged to use illustrations, particularly if such illustrations could become useful teaching aids or research models. Reviews should generally not include previously unpublished data. All review articles pass through the same refereeing process as regular articles and the response time to first decision can be expected to match the journal’s target of 28 days.The Reviews Editor welcomes offers of review articles in any area of plant science. Authors are encouraged to send a brief outline of the article to the Reviews Editor for consideration before preparation of a full manuscript. Reviews are also commissioned, often as collections which may be associated with scientific meetings, and published as Special issues. Smaller collections form Focus Sections in regular volumes of the journal.Opinion papers that express a particular point of view on a controversial topic relevant to any aspect of plant science are also considered.
