Kinematics and Physics of Celestial Bodies is concerned with the physical, integral properties of celestial bodies, kinematic astronomy and its base, astrometry. The journal publishes original and review papers on such topics as: Positional and theoretical astronomy; Earth's rotation and geodynamics; Dynamics and physics of bodies of the Solar System; Solar physics; Physics of stars and the interstellar medium; Structure and dynamics of the Galaxy; Extragalactic astronomy; Atmospheric optics and astronomical climate; Instruments and devices; Databases and more. The journal places an emphasis on structure and dynamics of the Galaxy, as well as on extragalactic astronomy. This journal is as much devoted to astronomical data, methods, and theoretical foundations for their collection, as it is to constructing dynamic and physical models for their interpretation. The journal is published under the auspices of the Division of Physics and Astronomy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

LAJAR publishes original papers, short communications and reviews, in Spanish or English, concerning research realized in marine and continental waters of Latin America.
Lethaia is a leading international journal that emphasizes new developments and discoveries in palaeobiological and biostratigraphical research. A formal publication outlet for the International Palaeontological Association (IPA) and the International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS), Lethaia publishes articles of international interest in the fields of palaeontology and stratigraphy. The articles concentrate on the development of new ideas and methods and descriptions of new features of wide significance rather than routine descriptions. Palaeobiology and ecostratigraphy are the core topics of the journal. In addition to articles, Lethaia contains shorter contributions in the form of discussions, presentations of current scientific activities, reviews and editorials. Lethaia was launched in 1968 as a joint venture between scientists in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, with the aim of promoting the development of modern methods in scientific publishing and of providing a medium for rapid publication of well-prepared manuscripts of wide international interest.
L&O Limnology and Oceanography (ISSN 0024-3590) publishes original articles, including scholarly reviews, about all aspects of limnology and oceanography. Submissions are judged on the originality of their data, interpretations, and ideas, and on the degree to which they can be generalized beyond the particular aquatic system examined. Laboratory and modeling studies must demonstrate relevance to field environments; typically this means that they are bolstered by substantial "real-world" data. Few purely theoretical or purely empirical papers are accepted for review; authors are strongly advised to combine such materials into more complete papers that test novel theory against data to elucidate important features of actual aquatic systems and to predict measurable features that have not yet been observed.
Limnology and Oceanography Letters (L&O Letters) is a platform for communication of the most innovative and trend-setting research in the aquatic sciences. Manuscripts should present high impact, cutting-edge results, discoveries or conceptual developments in any area of limnology and oceanography or its integration. Manuscripts will be selected based on their broad interest to the field, the strength of their empirical and conceptual foundations; their insightful, succinct and elegant conclusions; and their potential to advance knowledge in the aquatic sciences. Submissions must be short-format articles that are concise, highly focused analyses, with few display items.
Limnology and Oceanography: Methods (ISSN 1541-5856) is a companion to ASLO's top-rated journal Limnology and Oceanography, and articles are held to the same high standards. In order to provide the most rapid publication consistent with high standards, Limnology and Oceanography: Methods appears in electronic format only, and the entire submission and review system is online. Articles are posted as soon as they are accepted and formatted for publication.Limnology and Oceanography: Methods will consider manuscripts whose primary focus is methodological, and that deal with problems in the aquatic sciences. Manuscripts may present new measurement equipment, techniques for analyzing observations or samples, methods for understanding and interpreting information, analyses of metadata to examine the effectiveness of approaches, invited and contributed reviews and syntheses, and techniques for communicating and teaching in the aquatic sciences. Lithology and Mineral Resources (Litologiya i poleznye iskopaemye) reviews a wide range of problems related to the formation of sedimentary rocks and ores. Special attention is devoted to comparison of ancient sedimentary rock and ore formation with present-day processes, as the idea of actualism has always constituted one of the bases of the scientific philosophy of lithologists. A major part of the journal is devoted to comparative analysis of sedimentary processes on continents and in oceans, as well as the genetic aspects of the formation of sedimentary and hydrothermal-sedimentary mineral resources. The journal was founded in 1963 by Academician N. M. Strakhov. It will be of interest to lithologists, petrographers, geochemists, mineralogists, ore geologists and metallogenists, as well as to other geologists, ecologists, researchers of experimental and analytical laboratories, and graduate students.
