Nonlinear Processes in Geophysics (NPG) is an international, interdisciplinary journal for the publication of original research furthering knowledge on nonlinear processes in all branches of Earth, planetary and solar system sciences. The editors encourage submissions that apply nonlinear analysis methods to both models and data.The journal maintains sections for research articles, review articles, brief communications, comments and replies, and book reviews, as well as "Special Issues".

Ore Geology Reviews aims to familiarize all earth scientists with recent advances in a number of interconnected disciplines related to the study of, and search for, ore deposits. The reviews range from brief to longer contributions, but the journal preferentially publishes manuscripts that fill the niche between the commonly shorter journal articles and the comprehensive book coverages, and thus has a special appeal to many authors and readers.Ore Geology Reviews covers topics related to ore geology in its broadest sense. Organic Geochemistry serves as the only dedicated medium for the publication of peer-reviewed research on all phases of geochemistry in which organic compounds play a major role. The Editors welcome contributions covering a wide spectrum of subjects in the geosciences broadly based on organic chemistry (including molecular and isotopic geochemistry), and involving geology, biogeochemistry, environmental geochemistry, chemical oceanography and hydrology.The scope of the journal includes research involving petroleum (including natural gas), coal, organic matter in the aqueous environment and recent sediments, organic-rich rocks and soils and the role of organics in the geochemical cycling of the elements.Sedimentological, paleontological and organic petrographic studies will also be considered for publication, provided that they are geochemically oriented. Physics and Chemistry of Minerals is an international journal devoted to publishing articles and short communications of physical or chemical studies on minerals or solids related to minerals. Coverage emphasizes applications of modern techniques or new theories and models to interpret atomic structures and physical or chemical properties of minerals. The range of topics includes relationships between atomic structure and crystalline state; general solid state spectroscopy; experimental and theoretical analysis of chemical bonding in minerals; physical properties; relations between thermal expansion, compressibility, elastic constants, and fundamental properties of atomic structure, particularly as applied to geophysical problems; electron microscopy in support of physical and chemical studies; computational methods in the study of the structure and properties of minerals; mineral surfaces, and more.

Physics and Chemistry of the Earth is an international interdisciplinary journal for the rapid publication of collections of refereed communications in separate thematic issues, either stemming from scientific meetings, or, especially compiled for the occasion. There is no restriction on the length of articles published in the journal. Physics and Chemistry of the Earth incorporates the separate Parts A, B and C which existed until the end of 2001.

Precambrian Research publishes studies on all aspects of the early stages of the composition, structure and evolution of the Earth and its planetary neighbours. pure and applied geophysics (pageoph), a continuation of the journal 'Geofisica pura e applicata', publishes original scientific contributions in the fields of solid Earth, atmospheric and oceanic sciences. Regular and special issues feature thought-provoking reports on active areas of current research and state-of-the-art surveys.

Radio Science carries original scientific contributions on all aspects of electromagnetic phenomena related to physical problems. These contributions can include propagation through and interaction of electromagnetic waves with geophysical media, biological media, plasmas, and man-made structures. Coverage includes, but is not limited to, the application of electromagnetic techniques to remote sensing of the Earth and its environment, telecommunications, signals and systems, the ionosphere, and radio astronomy. All frequencies (including optical) are considered.

Resource Geology is an international journal focusing on economic geology, geochemistry and environmental geology. Its purpose is to contribute to the promotion of earth sciences related to metallic and non-metallic mineral deposits mainly in Asia, Oceania and the Circum-Pacific region, although other parts of the world are also considered. Launched in 1998 by the Society for Resource Geology, the journal is published quarterly in English, making it more accessible to the international geological community. The journal publishes high quality papers of interest to those engaged in research and exploration of mineral deposits.

The enormously successful series is now published jointly by the Mineralogical Society of America and The Geochemical Society. Volumes 1-38 were published as "Reviews in Mineralogy" (ISSN 0275-0279). Volumes 1-6 originally appeared as "Short Course Notes" (no ISSN). The name was changed to "Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry" (RiMG) (ISSN 1529-6466) starting with Volume 39. Paul Ribbe was sole editor for volumes 1-41. He was joined by Jodi J. Rosso as series editor for volumes 42-53 in the RiMG series submitted through the Geochemistry Society. With his retirement, Jodi Rosso is now the sole editor for the series.

Founded in 1982, the Russian Journal of Pacific Geology highlights problems of Earth sciences covering a vast region of the Pacific Ocean, marginal seas, and continental framing. The Asian-Pacific represents a unique junction of oceanic and continental plates, and distinctive mineral resources are: tin, gold, platinum, and oil and gas on the shelf. The Pacific Fire Ring of active volcanoes is the most hazardous part of the planet with high seismic activity and tsunami waves. The range of topics covered is diverse: paleontology and stratigraphy, geology of ore deposits, seismology and seismotectonics, geophysics and geodynamics, magmatism and metamorphism, geochemistry, petrology and geochronology, mineralogy and petrography, geomorphology and tectonics, geology of the seas and oceans floor, sedimentology, oil and gas geology, and more. Geological Correlation Series is published by the Institute of Geological Correlation (INSUGEO) CONICET / Faculty of Natural Sciences and Miguel Lillo Institute of the National University of Tucuman. Publishes original scientific papers that deal with all specialties in geological and paleontological subjects. Preferably, each volume will include work on a unified same subject or theme. The Geological Correlation is publised Series by the Institute of Geological Correlation (CONICET - National University of Tucumán) and the original Publishes articles on geology and paleontology. Each volume will unify preferently scientifc papers of a common subject or theme.

Studia geophysica et geodaetica is an international journal covering all aspects of geophysics, meteorology and climatology, and of geodesy. Studia publishes theoretical and methodological contributions, which are of interest for academia as well as industry. Published by the Institute of Geophysics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, it was founded in 1956. The journal offers fast publication of contributions in regular as well as topical issues.

Surveys in Geophysics publishes refereed overview articles on physical, chemical and biological processes occurring within the Earth, on its surface, in its atmosphere and in the near-Earth space environment, including relations with other bodies in the solar system. Observations, their interpretation, theory and modeling are presented in relation to relevant disciplines in the Geosciences and related areas.Published articles present balanced and well constructed reviews of recent advances in areas of topical interest, written for the broad community of earth scientists in academia, government and industry.
