Chemical Engineering and Processing: Process Intensification is intended for practicing researchers in industry and academia, working in the field of Process Engineering and related to the subject of Process Intensification.Articles published in the Journal demonstrate how novel discoveries, developments and theories in the field of Process Engineering and in particular Process Intensification may be used for analysis and design of innovative equipment and processing methods with substantially improved sustainability, efficiency and environmental performance.The Journal invites full-length research and succinct current-perspective articles from any branch of chemical engineering, particularly those concerned with themes such as equipment & plant miniaturization, alternative energy conversion & transport mechanisms, intensified hydrodynamics, structured environments, multifunctionality and intensified plant operation. Multidisciplinary papers and contributions from other disciplines, such as materials science, applied physics, electronics, fluid mechanics or energy technology, having impact on intensification of the chemical process industry are also welcome.Occasionally, review papers will be published for individual fields of activity to illustrate and summarize scientific and/or technological progress.The Journal presents advanced knowledge on engineering fundamentals and processes in such a form that it can be readily turned into practical applications.
Chemical Papers is devoted to research in pure and applied chemistry and chemical engineering. At its founding in 1947, the journal presented the achievements of Slovak chemical science. Today, it is a peer-reviewed international journal published in English by the Institute of Chemistry of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, with the support of several other academic institutions. Chemical education
The initiative to start with publication of a new journal Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Quarterly (CABEQ) as a part of European Alpe-Adria initiative for regional cooperation is described. Given are the main goals for the new journal published by Croatian Association of Chemical Engineers, formation of the international editorial board, and experiences gained during 15 years of publishing. Presented are statistical data on published papers, country of origin of authors, and classification of papers into chemical and biochemical engineering fields. The experiences gained during the last two years with publishing on Internet and planned activities in future are also presented. A view on validation of journals by ISI impact factor is discussed.
