Applied Energy provides a forum for information on innovation, research, development and demonstration in the areas of energy conversion and conservation, the optimal use of energy resources, analysis and optimization of energy processes, mitigation of environmental pollutants, and sustainable energy systems. The journal publishes original papers, review articles, technical notes, and letters to the editor. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts which bridge the gaps between research, development and implementation. Applied Mathematics and Mechanics is the English version of a journal on applied mathematics and mechanics published in the People's Republic of China. It is a comprehensive journal presenting original research papers on mechanics, mathematical methods in mechanics as well as applied mathematics relevant to neoteric mechanics.The Editorial Committee, headed by Professor Zhe-wei ZHOU, consists of scientists in the fields of applied mathematics and mechanics all over the world.Founded by Professor Wei-zang CHIEN in May 1980 as a quarterly, Applied Mathematics and Mechanics became a bimonthly in 1981 and then a monthly in 1985.

Applied Mechanics Reviews (AMR) is an international review journal that serves as a premier venue for dissemination of material across all sub-disciplines of applied mechanics and engineering science, including fluid and solid mechanics, heat transfer, dynamics and vibration, and applications. AMR provides an archival repository for state-of-the-art and retrospective survey articles and reviews of research areas and curricular developments across all sub-disciplines of applied mechanics. The journal invites commentary on research and education policy in different countries and regions in the area of applied mechanics, including material that provides an international comparison of different regional frameworks for collaboration and networking. The journal also invites original tutorial and educational material in applied mechanics targeting non-specialist audiences, including undergraduate and K-12 students.

The Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis nourishes the discipline of mechanics as a deductive, mathematical science in the classical tradition and promotes analysis, particularly in the context of application. Its purpose is to give rapid and full publication to research of exceptional moment, depth and permanence.

The Archive of Applied Mechanics aims to disseminate  new results and methods of scientific research in the fields of solid and fluid mechanics, dynamics, vibrations and control. Mechanics of material, fracture and damage mechanics, material modeling in biomechanics, hydrodynamics and fluid-structure interaction are especially emphasized. Included are related disciplines, in a form useful to engineering practice. New analytical, numerical and experimental methods suited to research in the above-mentioned subjects are also welcomed.The Archive of Applied Mechanics was founded as 'Ingenieur-Archiv' in 1929 (Vol. 1) by R. Grammel. The title was changed to Archive of Applied Mechanics in 1991.

The  Australian Journal of Structural Engineering ( AJSE) is published under the auspices of the Structural College Board of Engineers Australia. It fulfils part of the Board's mission for Continuing Professional Development. The journal also offers a means for exchange and interaction of scientific and professional issues and technical developments. The journal is open to members and non-members of Engineers Australia.

Original papers on research and development (Technical Papers) and professional matters and achievements (Professional Papers) in all areas relevant to the science, art and practice of structural engineering are considered for possible publication. All papers and technical notes are peer-reviewed. The fundamental criterion for acceptance for publication is the intellectual and professional value of the contribution.

Occasionally, papers previously published in essentially the same form elsewhere may be considered for publication. In this case acknowledgement to prior publication must be included in a footnote on page one of the manuscript. These papers are peer-reviewed as new submissions.

The length of acceptable contributions typically should not exceed 4000 to 5000 word equivalents. Longer manuscripts may be considered at the discretion of the Editor. Technical Notes typically should not exceed about 1000 word equivalents.

Discussions on a Paper or Note published in the AJSE are welcomed. Discussions must address significant matters related to the content of a Paper or Technical Note and may include supplementary and critical comments and questions regarding content.

Biomechanics and Modeling in Mechanobiology promotes basic and applied research that integrate knowledge in the allied fields of biomechanics and mechanobiology. The journal highlights approaches that are experimental, theoretical, or computational and that address phenomena at the nano, micro, or macro levels. This journal focuses on investigations that quantify the mechanical environment in health, disease, or injury, or identify and quantify mechanosensitive responses and their mechanisms. The journal also focuses on papers that detail interrelations between mechanics and biological processes or report discoveries that advance therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Analytical and computational models based on solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, or thermomechanics and their interactions are strongly emphasized. In addition, the journal encourages reports on new experimental methods that expand measurement capabilities and new mathematical methods that facilitate analysis.

At the moment, the international shipbuilding market is extremely dynamic and unpredictable, so that the needs for certain types of ships (as well as their prices) are changing dramatically from one day to the next. This requires from the shipbuilders to follow the conditions on the shipbuilding market continuously, to anticipate the changes, and to make tremendous efforts in adjusting their production capacities to the anticipated changes. Such requirements can be satisfied only by a shipbuilding industry that has a flexible and dynamic management, a competent team of experts, a modern technology, a good cooperation with the domestic equipment and outfitting industry, and a strong financial backing by the state and by the powerful commercial banking institutions.

China Ocean Engineering integrates new research concepts, equipment, technology, materials and structures and other scientific advances within the field of estuarial, coastal, offshore, and deep water engineering with particular reference to developments. The Journal is concerned with all engineering aspects involved in the exploration and utilization of ocean resources. Topics regularly covered include research, design and construction of structures (including wharfs, dikes, breakwaters, platforms, mooring systems, etc.), instrumentation/testing (physical model and numerical model), wave dynamics, sedimentation, structural/stress analysis, soil mechanics, and material research.
