The Neuroimaging section of Psychiatry Research publishes manuscripts on positron emission tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, computerized electroencephalographic topography, regional cerebral blood flow, computed tomography, magnetoencephalography, autoradiography, post-mortem regional analyses, and other imaging techniques. Reports concerning results in psychiatric disorders, dementias, and the effects of behaviorial tasks and pharmacological treatments are featured. We also invite manuscripts on the methods of obtaining images and computer processing of the images themselves. Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences is published bimonthly by the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology as its official journal. The journal publishespapers in all fields of psychiatry and related neurosciences in the following categories: Review Articles, Regular Articles, Short Communications and Letters to the Editor. All manuscripts, except abstracts or proceedings of relevant scientific meetings, will be peer reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers, an Editorial Board Member and the Editor. Psycho-Oncology is concerned with the psychological, social, behavioral, and ethical aspects of cancer. This subspeciality addresses the two major psychological dimensions of cancer: the psychological responses of patients to cancer at all stages of the disease, and that of their families and caretakers; and the psychological, behavioral and social factors that may influence the disease process. Psycho-oncology is an area of multi-disciplinary interest and has boundaries with the major specialities in oncology: the clinical disciplines (surgery, medicine, pediatrics, radiotherapy), epidemiology, immunology, endocrinology, biology, pathology, bioethics, palliative care, rehabilitation medicine, clinical trials research and decision making, as well as psychiatry and psychology. This international journal is published twelve times a year and will consider contributions to research of clinical and theoretical interest. Topics covered are wide-ranging and relate to the psychosocial aspects of cancer and AIDS-related tumors, including: epidemiology, quality of life, palliative and supportive care, psychiatry, psychology, sociology, social work, nursing and educational issues. Special reviews are offered from time to time. There is a section reviewing recently published books. A society news section is available for the dissemination of information relating to meetings, conferences and other society-related topics. Summary proceedings of important national and international symposia falling within the aims of the journal are presented.

Official Journal of the International Association for Psychoanalytic Self Psychology A peer-reviewed quarterly, the International Journal of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology examines self psychology from a myriad of dimensions, including historical, developmental, clinical perspectives, and devotes considerable space to exploring the relationships among psychoanalytic self psychology and other psychoanalytic viewpoints. Expanded Routledge Psychoanalysis Coverage in PEPPsychoanalytic Psychotherapy publishes original contributions on the application, development and evaluation of psychoanalytic ideas and therapeutic interventions in the public health sector and other related applied settings. The Journal aims to promote theoretical and applied developments that are underpinned by a psychoanalytic understanding of the mind. Its aims are consonant with those of the Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the NHS (APP in the NHS) in promoting applied psychoanalytic work and thinking in the health care system, across the whole age range.We welcome submissions from mental health professionals and researchers from all relevant professional backgrounds. We are interested in a range of papers: clinical and single case studies used to illustrate the development of a specific theoretical point, or the application of analytic work in particular settings and/ or with a specialist patient group; systematic reviews and empiriral evaluations of the application of psychoanalytic ideas and of innovative therapeutic interventions; rigorous theroretical papers; papers addressing policy issues that impact on the practice of psychoanalytic therapy and/ or the applied work of analytically informed practitioners, or papers that make a contriibution to the development of mental health policy. Psychogeriatrics is an international journal sponsored by the Japanese Psychogeriatric Society and publishes peer-reviewed original papers dealing with all aspects of psychogeriatrics and related fields The Journal encourages articles with gerontopsychiatric, neurobiological, genetic, diagnostic, social-psychiatric, health-political, psychological or psychotherapeutic content. Themes can be illuminated through basic science, clinical (human and animal) studies, case studies, epidemiological or humanistic research.

Psychological Assessment publishes mainly empirical articles concerning clinical assessment. Papers that fall within the domain of the journal include research on the development, validation, application, and evaluation of psychological assessment instruments. Diverse modalities (e.g., cognitive, physiologic, and motoric) and methods of assessment (e.g., questionnaires, interviews, natural environment and analog environment observation, self-monitoring, participant observation, physiological measurement, instrument-assisted and computer-assisted assessment) are within the domain of the journal, especially as they relate to clinical assessment. Also included are topics on clinical judgment and decision making (including diagnostic assessment), methods of measurement of treatment process and outcome, and dimensions of individual differences (e.g., race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, economic status) as they relate to clinical assessment. Case studies will be considered if they make unique contributions to clinical assessment. Highly focused reviews of assessment instruments or methods of assessment with particular behavior disorders, theoretical papers related to assessment, and papers bridging basic and applied dimensions of assessment will be considered. Papers on measurement theory and methods will be considered if they are specifically addressed to clinical assessment.

Psychological Injury and Law is a journal designed as a multidisciplinary forum for the dissemination of research articles and scholarly exchanges about issues pertaining to the interface of psychology and law in the area of trauma, injury, and their psychological impact. The journal intends to help build the evidentiary research base of the field, and to critically examine its concepts and practice. Psychological impairments and disabilities may arise from physical and/or mental injuries ascribed to alleged negligent actions. They need to be judiciously assessed for their validity, and treated when evaluated as valid. They lead to legal and related action when there are long term or permanent effects.
