Oral Science International, a journal of the Japanese Stomatological Society, publishes original articles describing basic and clinical research on the cellular and molecular characterization, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of oral diseases as well as those that contribute to the advancement of stomatology and its related fields. Oral Science International will receive materials prepared and submitted according to these instructions. However, we reserve the right to make any changes necessary to make the contribution conform to the editorial standards of the Journal, as deemed by the Editorial Board based on the recommendations of the reviewers. Contributions can be made both by members and nonmembers of the Japanese Stomatological Society. Articles must deal with original research, case reports and reviews, not previously published or being considered for publication elsewhere.

The Journal is required reading for anyone in the fields of oral surgery, oral medicine, oral pathology, oral radiology or advanced general practice dentistry. It is the only major dental journal that provides a practical and complete overview of the medical and surgical techniques of dental practice in four areas. Topics covered include such current issues as dental implants, treatment of HIV-infected patients, and evaluation and treatment of TMJ disorders. The Journal is ranked 37th for impact factor out of 77 Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Medicine titles on the 2010 Journal Citation Reports®, published by Thomson Reuters. It is the highest ranked Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery title by number of citations.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery founded as Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie is a peer-reviewed online journal. It is designed for clinicians as well as researchers. The quarterly journal offers comprehensive coverage of new techniques, important developments and innovative ideas in oral and maxillofacial surgery and interdisciplinary aspects of cranial, facial and oral diseases and their management. The journal publishes papers of the highest scientific merit and widest possible scope on work in oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as supporting specialties. Practice-oriented articles help improve the methods used in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Every aspect of oral and maxillofacial surgery is fully covered through a range of invited review articles, clinical and research articles, technical notes, abstracts, and case reports. Specific topics are: aesthetic facial surgery, clinical pathology, computer-assisted surgery, congenital and craniofacial deformities, dentoalveolar surgery, head and neck oncology, implant dentistry, oral medicine, orthognathic surgery, reconstructive surgery, skull base surgery, TMJ and trauma. Time-limited reviewing and electronic processing allow to publish articles as fast as possible. Accepted articles are rapidly accessible online. Clinical studies submitted for publication have to include a declaration that they have been approved by an ethical committee according to the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki 1964 (last amendment during the 52nd World Medical Association General Assembly, Edinburgh, Scotland, October 2000). Experimental animal studies have to be carried out according to the principles of laboratory animal care (NIH publication No 86-23, revised 1985).

Authors will be notified of this decision and at the same time requested to pay an Author Processing Fee. Following payment of this fee, case reports and case series will be made universally available at no further charge through ScienceDirect, http://www.sciencedirect.com, and through the Journal's own website, http://www.oralandmaxillofacialsurgerycases.com.

Published four times a year—February, May, August, and November—Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics of North America updates you on the latest trends in patient management and the newest advances, as well as provides a sound basis for choosing treatment options. Under the direction of an experienced guest editor, each issue focuses on a single topic in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Topics include cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, cleft and craniofacial surgery, craniomaxillofacial trauma surgery, TMJ, and implants.

Orthodontics & Craniofacial Research - Genes, Growth and Development is published to serve its readers as an international forum for the presentation and critical discussion of issues pertinent to the advancement of the specialty of orthodontics and the evidence-based knowledge of craniofacial growth and development. This forum is based on scientifically supported information, but also includes minority and conflicting opinions.

The Pediatric Dental Journal is published three times a year to promote the research, practice and education specifically related to pediatric dentistry. It is the official publication of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry and The Pediatric Dentistry Association of Asia. The Society invites submission of original research and case reports.

Pediatric Dentistry is the official publication of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. It is published bi-monthly and is internationally recognized as the leading journal in the area of pediatric dentistry. The journal promotes the practice, education and research specifically related to the specialty of pediatric dentistry. This peer-reviewed journal features scientific articles, case reports and abstracts of current pediatric dental research.

Periodontology 2000 comprises a series of monographs intended for periodontists and general practitioners with interest in periodontics. The editorial board identifies significant topics and invites a guest editor to prepare each monograph. Periodontology 2000 is a different concept in periodontal literature and serves as a valuable supplement to existing periodontal journals. Each volume is richly illustrated in both black and white and colour. Three volumes a year are published in February, June and October.

Progress in Orthodontics is a fully open access journal owned by the Italian Society of Orthodontics and published under the brand SpringerOpen. It is a premier journal of international scope that fosters orthodontic research, including both basic research and development of innovative clinical techniques, with an emphasis on the following areas:- Mechanisms to improve orthodontics- Clinical studies and control animal studies- Orthodontics and genetics, genomics- Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) control clinical trials- Efficacy of orthodontic appliances and animal models- Systematic reviews and meta analyses- Mechanisms to speed orthodontic treatment Progress in Orthodontics will consider for publication only meritorious and original contributions. These may be: • Original articles reporting the findings of clinical trials, clinically relevant basic scientific investigations, or novel therapeutic or diagnostic systems • Review articles on current topics • Articles on novel techniques and clinical tools • Articles of contemporary interest Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by at least two referees. All accepted articles are published free of charge.
