Journal of Physiotherapy is the official journal of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. The Editorial Board's mission is to publish significant research which has important implications for physiotherapy. Our vision is for the journal to be the pre-eminent international publication of the science and practice of physiotherapy.In January 2008 Journal of Physiotherapy became the first physiotherapy journal to conform to the ICMJE requirement wherein randomised trials are registered with a recognised Trial Registry.In January 2014 the journal also became the first core physiotherapy journal to make Editorials and peer-reviewed original research freely-available.

The Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport is an international refereed research publication covering all aspects of sport science and medicine.The Journal considers for publication Original research and Review papers in the sub-disciplines relating generally to the broad sports medicine and sports science fields: sports medicine, sports injury (including injury epidemiology and injury prevention), physiotherapy, podiatry, physical activity and health, sports science, biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor control and learning, sport and exercise psychology, sports nutrition, public health (as relevant to sport and exercise), and rehabilitation and injury management. Manuscripts with an interdisciplinary perspective with specific applications to sport and exercise and its interaction with health will also be considered.Only studies involving human subjects will be considered.Contributors are invited to submit their manuscripts in English to the Editor for critical review. The Journal of Sport Management encourages the submission of manuscripts in a number of areas as they relate to the management, governance, and consumption of sport such as: organizational theory, behavior, and strategy; sport operations; law and policy; economics, finance, and accounting; marketing, consumer behavior, sponsorship, advertising, and licensing; media, communications, and public relations; sport tourism; facility and event management; and gender and diversity. Studies using quantitative and/or qualitative approaches are welcomed.The Journal of Sport Management publishes research and scholarly review articles; short reports on replications, test development, and data reanalysis (Research Notes); editorials that focus on significant issues pertaining to sport management (Sport Management Perspectives); articles aimed at strengthening the link between sport management theory and sport management practice (From the Field); journal abstracts (Sport Management Digest); book reviews (Off the Press); and news items of interest to professionals in sport management (Management Memos).

The editorial mission of the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation (JSR) is to advance the understanding of all aspects of sport rehabilitation, particularly in the areas of therapeutic exercise, therapeutic modalities, injury evaluation, and the psychological aspects of rehabilitation. JSR publishes original research, systematic reviews/meta-analyses, critically appraised topics (CATs), and case studies/series that directly affect the management and rehabilitation of injuries incurred during sport-related activities, irrespective of the individual’s age, gender, sport ability, level of fitness, or health status. The journal is intended to provide an international, multidisciplinary forum to serve the needs of all members of the sports medicine team, including athletic trainers/therapists, sport physical therapists/physiotherapists, sports medicine physicians, and other health care and medical professionals.

Journal of Sport and Health Science (JSHS), launched in May 2012, is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the advancement of sport/exercise/health sciences. The JSSM does not accept descriptive studies or data reports.

Read the report The Journal of Sports Sciences publishes articles of a high standard on various aspects of the sports sciences covering a number of disciplinary bases, including anatomy, biochemistry, biomechanics, psychology, sociology, as well as ergonomics, kinanthropometry and other interdisciplinary perspectives. In addition to reports of research, review articles and book reviews are published. The emphasis of the Journal is on the human sciences, broadly defined, applied to sport and exercise. Besides experimental work in human responses to exercise, the subjects covered will include human rersponses to technologies such as the design of sports equipment and playing facilities, research in training, selection, performance prediction or modification, and stress reduction or manifestation. Manuscripts dealing with original investigations of exercise, validation of technological innovations in sport or comprehensive reviews of topics relevant to the scientific study of sport will be considered for publication. The Journal presents research findings in the growing area of exercise and sports sciences to an international audience. The readership for this journal is varied and ranges from academic research workers to professionals in recreation, sports coaching and training. he purpose of the Journal of Teaching in Physical Education is to communicate national and international research and stimulate discussion, study, and critique of teaching, teacher education, and curriculum as these fields relate to physical activity in schools, communities, higher education, and sport. The journal publishes original reports of empirical studies in physical education together with integrative reviews and analyses of educational and methodological issues in the field. Research using a variety of methodological approaches is acceptable for publication. Brief research notes also will be reviewed for possible publication. The coeditors and editorial board encourage the submission of manuscripts that extend knowledge within the focus of the journal.Specific questions about the appropriateness of any individual paper to enter the JTPE review process should be directed to one of the coeditors. Except for occasional invited manuscripts, all published articles are refereed by members of the Editorial Board, whose names appear on the back cover, or by other referees invited by the coeditors. The final decision on whether a paper merits publication is made by the coeditor coordinating the review process.
