The official journal of the American Orthopsychiatric Association, the American Journal of Orthopsychiatry is dedicated to informing public policy and professional practice and to the expansion of knowledge relating to mental health and human development from a multidisciplinary and interprofessional perspective. This journal is a critical resource for psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, educators, and professionals in a broad range of allied disciplines.

American Psychologist® is the official journal of the American Psychological Association. As such, the journal contains archival documents and articles covering current issues in psychology, the science and practice of psychology, and psychology's contribution to public policy.Archival and Association documents include, but are not limited to the Annual Report of the Association Council minutes the Presidential Address editorials other reports of the Association ethics information surveys of the membership employment data obituaries calendars of events announcements selected award addresses.

The primary mission of Behavioral Neuroscience® is to publish original papers in the broad field of the biological bases of behavior. Research articles cover all aspects of behavioral neuroscience, including * learning * memory * motivation * homeostasis * sleep and circadian rhythms * reproduction * cognitionExperimental subjects include human and non-human animals; studies using non-traditional species (including invertebrates) and employing comparative analyses are welcome.In addition to behavior, it is expected that some aspect of nervous system function will be manipulated or observed, ranging across molecular, anatomical, endocrinological, pharmacological, and physiological levels of analysis.Studies employing brain imaging techniques in normal and pathological human populations are also published.In addition to full-length research papers, the journal also publishes Brief Communications, which must not exceed 3,250 words of text and contain no more than two figures and/or tables. When appropriate, Commentaries on research papers are invited by the editors. Finally, the journal publishes Reviews and Minireviews on any theoretical, empirical, or historical topic related to the role of the nervous system in the production of behavior.

The Canadian Journal of Behavioural Science publishes original, empirical contributions in the following areas of psychology: abnormal behavioural clinical community counselling developmental educational environmental gay and lesbian gender health industrial–organizational neuropsychological personality psychometrics sexology social A limited amount of space is also available in the journal for brief reports with theoretical and practical implications. The Brief Reports section can also be used for psychometric reports and to disseminate Canadian norms or forms for standardized tests.

The Canadian Journal of Experimental Psychology publishes original research papers that advance understanding of the field of experimental psychology, broadly considered. This includes, but is not restricted to, cognition, perception, motor performance, attention, memory, learning, language, decision making, development, comparative psychology, and neuroscience.The journal publishes papers reporting empirical results that advance knowledge in a particular research area; papers describing theoretical, methodological, or conceptual advances that are relevant to the interpretation of empirical evidence in the field; brief reports (less than 2,500 words for the main text) that describe new results or analyses with clear theoretical or methodological import.Occasionally, the Journal publishes book reviews judged to be of broad interest to the experimental psychology research community.

Cultural Diversity & Ethnic Minority Psychology seeks to publish theoretical, conceptual, research, and case study articles that promote the development of knowledge and understanding, application of psychological principles, and scholarly analysis of social–political forces affecting racial and ethnic minorities.Especially welcome are articles that *advance the contributions of psychology in the understanding of issues related to people of color through research, including the development of appropriate research paradigms; *promote the education and training of psychologists in matters regarding people of color, including the special issues relevant to the delivery of services to minority populations; and *advance the accumulation of knowledge related to diversity and multiculturalism, with particular attention to the wider society and the formation of public policy.
