Founded in 1953 as Acta Facultatis Medicae Zagrabiensis.Official journal of World Assocaition of Croatian Physicians (WACP), Academy of Medical Sciences of Croatia (AMSC), Forum for Public Health in South Eastern Europe (EPH-SEE), International Society for Applied Biological Sciences (ISABS), and Croatian Center for Global Health.Publication of the journal is supported by the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education, and Sports.CMJ permits and encourages authors to post items submitted to the journal on personal websites or institutional repositories both prior to and after publication, while providing bibliographic details that credit, if applicable, its publication in this journal.
The journal Geofizika succeeds the series Papers, which has been published since 1923 at the Geophysical Institute in Zagreb. Geofizika publishes contributions dealing with physics of the atmosphere, the sea and the Earth's interior. As of 2006 (Vol. 23) the journal is published semiannually.
