Online Manuscript SubmissionAims and Scope:The ground-breaking concept of online publishing is developed by Elsevier through Electrochemistry Communications.Electrochemistry Communications is a letters journal providing fast dissemination of short communications covering the whole field of electrochemistry. Electrochemistry Communications seeks to provide rapid publication of important and urgent communications and short papers across the broad spectrum of electrochemical research. We aim to be the fastest journal in electrochemistry - see the Journal Insights below for data.Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topics:• Fundamental electrochemistry• Electrode reaction mechanisms• Computational and theoretical electrochemistry• Properties of interfaces• Electrochemical surface science• Batteries and power sources• Organic and organometallic electrochemistry• Bioelectrochemistry• Spectroelectrochemistry and sonoelectrochemistry. The journal welcomes papers of general or specialist importance which merit rapid publication to a wide audience. All papers should be submitted via the journal's online submission system which can be accessed at http://ees.elsevier.com/elecom. Accepted papers will appear in electronic form on ScienceDirect within six to eight weeks of their receipt by the editor. Please note that International Society of Electrochemistry members have now the option to purchase a personal printed or electronic subscription to Electrochemistry Communications.
The official journal of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE)Electrochimica Acta is an international journal. It is intended for the publication of both original work and reviews in the field of electrochemistry. Electrochemistry should be interpreted to mean any of the research fields covered by the Divisions of the International Society of Electrochemistry listed below, as well as emerging scientific domains covered by ISE New Topics Committee.ISE Divisions:(1) Analytical Electrochemistry(2) Bioelectrochemistry(3) Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage (4) Electrochemical Materials Science(5) Electrochemical Process Engineering and Technology (6) Molecular Electrochemistry(7) Physical ElectrochemistryElectrochimica Acta is the official journal of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE). The ISE was founded in 1949 by leading European and American electrochemists to serve the growing needs of electrochemistry. Since then the ISE has evolved to comprise more than 2000 individual members, from more than 60 countries. Visit their homepage at http://www.ise-online.org.
The Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry is the foremost international journal devoted to the interdisciplinary subject of electrochemistry in all its aspects, theoretical as well as applied.Electrochemistry is a wide ranging area that is in a state of continuous evolution. Rather than compiling a long list of topics covered by the Journal, the editors would like to draw particular attention to the key issues of novelty, topicality and quality. Papers should present new and interesting electrochemical science in a way that is accessible to the reader. The presentation and discussion should be at a level that is consistent with the international status of the Journal. Reports describing the application of well-established techniques to problems that are essentially technical will not be accepted. Similarly, papers that report observations but fail to provide adequate interpretation will be rejected by the Editors. Papers dealing with technical electrochemistry should be submitted to other specialist journals unless the authors can show that their work provides substantially new insights into electrochemical processes.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more.
